Born in Yellowknife, NWT, Kaiter was adopted in British Columbia at a very young age. She always possessed a creative spark, evident in her doodles and drawings throughout her school years. Although her parents stressed the importance of a solid education for a secure career, Kaiter's heart was drawn to art. Supported by teachers who recognized her unique and inspired talents, she decided to major in Visual Arts and concentrate on Psychology at university. Completing a piece of art brings Kaiter immense joy and fuels her ambition to merge creativity with her interest in mental health.
Residing in Nanaimo, BC, Kaiter progresses in her studies and is naturally drawn to understanding her own healing from trauma and grief. Kaiter's mission is to inspire and support others through her passions—art, music, animals, and community—as she continues to engage with those around her.
Raised in a secluded town in Saskatchewan, Yvonne formed a profound bond with horses, nurturing values of empathy and care from a young age. Her love for horses, music, and children inspired her to create her first non-profit in 2010, Voice For The Horse in British Columbia which used social media to champion equine welfare and connect with global audiences. Embracing a new vision in 2024, she established the Leading Your Way For Change Society, dedicated to combating bullying among children.
Based in Chilliwack, BC, Yvonne is active with her business At Ease Equestrian and provides both equine therapy and massage for people. Her notable achievements in the field were recognized in 2017 when she was celebrated and inducted into the World Massage Festival Hall of Fame in Cherokee, North Carolina.
As Yvonne progresses with her initiatives and leveraging her training as a Virtues Project™ Educator and Facilitator, she is looking forward to securing charitable status for the Leading Your Way For Change Society in Canada in 2025.
